About Poland EMA:

The Poland Emergency Management Agency is a municipal department of the Town of Poland, responsible for planning and coordination of large scale emergency response, recovery, mitigation, and preparedness.

The department works with local officials to develop an Emergency Operations Plan, operate the town's Emergency Operations Center, and to coordinate with the County Emergency Management Agency to provide damage assessment information and situation reports during emergencies.

The agency also coordinates with outside organizations such as the American Red Cross, and other volunteer agencies to operates the Regional Emergency Shelter located at the Poland Regional High School.
