Now Hiring for a Broadcasting Technician

The Town of Poland is currently seeking a Broadcasting Technician to help us record and distribute our Planning Board, Board of Selectperson, and Board of Appeals meetings.  Requirements include being present for up to 24 Board of Selectpersons meetings, up to 24 Planning Board meetings, and up to 4 Board of Appeals meetings.  Board of Selectperson meetings are every 1^st and 3^rd Tuesday of the month and Planning Board meetings are every 2^nd and 4^th Tuesday of the month, both at 7 PM.  Setup, all equipment is on premise and owned by the Town, must be done prior to the meetings starting at 7 PM and meetings are typically less than 3 hours, with many being around 2 hours long.  Board of Appeals meets as needed and date will be checked with you before scheduling the meeting and also occur in the evening hours.  This is a stipend position of $5,000 per year.  Video recording experience preferred but negotiable.  For more information please contact Town Manager Matt Garside at 998-4601 Ext. 208 or email mgarside@polandtownoffice.org.
