MDOT to install centerline rumble strips on RT 26

Maine DOT will install rumble strips on RT 26 from just north of Hines Road to just before the RSU 16 Offices later this summer. The rumble strips will be sinusoidal in shape. This provides a warning to drivers who cross the median, but it much less noisy for residents.
