Read ME Kickoff Event
June 2, Maine Calling will host the 2023 Read Me kickoff on Maine Public Radio beginning at 11:00am.

Read Me is a statewide summer reading program offered by the Maine Humanities Council, Maine State Library, and Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance that gets Maine's adults all reading the same books-by Maine authors and recommended by a Maine author. Colin Woodard recommended "Night of the Living Rez" by Morgan Talty and "Lungfish" by Meghan Gilliss. Ricker Library will have copies of these two books available.
