Public Hearing for a Community Development Block Grant Application

The Town of Poland will hold a Public Hearing on  May 22, 2024, at  7:00 p.m. , in the Town Office Conference Room to discuss an application being submitted to the State of Maine CDBG program for a Housing Assistance Grant.  The purpose of the grant application is to  provide funding for the construction of 18 affordable rental units.    Public comments will be solicited at this Hearing and will be submitted as part of the application.  All persons wishing to make comments or ask questions about the grant application are invited to attend this Public Hearing.  Comments may be submitted in writing to:   Matthew Garside 1231 Maine Street, Poland, ME 04274   at any time prior to the Public Hearing.  If you are physically unable to access any of the City’s/Town’s programs or services, please call 998-4601,  so that accommodations can be made.
