Winter is here

Now that the snow is here we would like to remind the public of a few things.

Sand is available for Poland residents at the Public Works Garage located at 30 Poland Corner Road. The pile to the left of the sand shed is for public use. Please do not enter the shed even if the gates are open.

In order to help prevent your driveway from getting filled in every time a snowplow goes by your house if feasible clear a spot before your driveway for the snow coming off our plow and wings to dump into.  

Please clean the snow out from around your mailboxes so that they remain visible.  

If you get behind one of our trucks please go slow be patient and give us plenty of space to work. If you can't see the trucks mirrors we can't see you.  Often times when we get to the end of a road we need to back up or turn around. Do not pull up directly behind us.
