Yoga with Martha Stone
Give yourself the gift of one and 1/4 hour of Yoga practice to calm your mind and stretch and strengthen your body. This Yoga class is appropriate for students of all levels who are seeking to learn to breathe through movement with the intention of moving toward calm and focus. We will start with a landing on our mats, slowing warming up our bodies and breathing in the energy for standing and sitting poses, bends, twists, balancing poses and inversions. Practice will end with a relaxation period that removes fatigue and calms the mind. You will leave rejuvenated for the rest of your week. Martha is a certified yoga instructor who has the ability to modify poses for different levels of fitness and experience. She has taught yoga to children and adults in public schools, adult education and recreation programs and yoga studios.
When: Saturday from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. and Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m.
Where: Poland Town Hall
Bring a mat, towel or blanket and water bottle.
