Senior Tax Assistance Program
NOW OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS

- Are you 70 years of age or older?
- Have you held a homestead in Poland for the last 10 consecutive years?
- Did you receive a refund from the Maine Property Tax Fairness Credit Program (MPTFC)?
If you answered yes to all three questions you may qualify for the Poland Senior Tax Assistance Credit Rebate. If you qualify and submit the application by the deadline, August 30, 2022 to the Town Office you may get up to 50% of your MPTFC back from the Town. Please see the links below to understand more about our credit rebate and for an application. Applications can also be picked up in person at the Town Office, mailed, or emailed upon request.
