Proposed Municipal Complex Engineering Plans

Attached are two links that we would like our citizens to review and give feed back on.

The first link is the original master plan for the municipal complex that was done in 2013. The engineering firm has highlighted the areas we would like to change on the master plan.

The second link is the proposed plan that was recently done with some minor changes that are highlighted. These changes have been suggested to decrease cost and address accessibility.

HIGHLIGHTED CHANGES

Alteration 1 (red) includes leaving the main entrance where it is now. If we place it where it is shown on the Master Plan 2013 then we would have to relocate the current electronic sign along with rewiring the electrical, which would increase the cost of the project.

Alteration 2 (blue) includes making one-way access around the Town Hall. The main reason this is being suggested is that our ASO substation is at the front of the building on the left and we want them to be able to have easy and quick access to leaving the parking lot in case of an emergency. It also creates a drop off point for users of the Town Hall so that they do not stop in the parking lot on the right of the building to drop off or unload.

Alteration 3 (purple) is removing the proposed parking behind the Fairpoint building. This is land we do not own and would have to enter into an agreement with Faripoint. We feel that at this time this additional parking is not needed.
