Northeast Bank Chosen as Business of the Quarter

Northeast Bank Chosen as Business of the Quarter

Northeast Bank located in Poland Crossing at 1399 Maine Street in Poland has been chosen by the Poland Community and Economic Development Committee to receive the Quarterly Excellence in Business Award.  The Northeast Bank branch in Poland is one of 10 here in the local area.

Branch Manager Heather Delamater has been in Poland for the past two years and is excited about what the bank has done to be part of the community.  In addition to bank employees volunteering at local events such as Heritage Day, Northeast Bank has made generous donations to Camp Connor to help with maintenance and repairs as well as the Waterhouse Brook Project that seeks to build a pedestrian bridge across Waterhouse Brook Dam.  Northeast Bank also supports the “Bikes for Kids” fund drive and a local food bank.

Asked why Northeast Bank chose to open the branch here in Poland, Heather Delamater said “Northeast Bank see’s Poland as a growing community that we want to be part of.  When the opportunity came to build a branch here at the Poland Crossing development – right on Route 26, we felt it was the perfect fit.”

Northeast Bank Teller’s Lynn Hamper, Jane Piccininni and Shannon Dillon say they enjoy connecting with customers – and it shows.  Lynn, Jane and Shannon know most customers by name and give everyone a warm greeting when they come into the bank.

For Heather, Lynn, Jane, Shannon and the rest of the Northeast Bank team, thank you for being such a vibrant part of our community!
