McDonalds Restaurant - Ron and Cyndi Lydick Quarterly Excellence in Business Award 2018

McDonalds Restaurant located at 1502 Maine St. in Poland, Maine has been chosen by the Poland Community & Economic Development Committee as the First Quarterly Excellence in Business Award in 2018. The Restaurant is one of 14 McDonalds owned by Ron and Cyndi Lydick- RC Management LLC, Gardiner, Maine.  Their sons Ben and Michael also work in the family business managing  and operating their own stores for their parents. Ron Lydick is excited to be in Poland since opening his store here in December of 2014. “I extend a heartfelt thank you (to the town of Poland) for being here. “ Ron and Cyndi are grateful for the quality group of High School students they have hired to work at the Poland restaurant saying “… Poland is a great community group of employees with smiles on their faces all the time.”

When Debra Morin-Ouellette and Cyndi Robbins of The Poland Community and Economic Development Committee met with the Lydick family in February, they asked what the Town of Poland could do for them and the restaurant. Ron Lydick indicated he was “…happy with knowing the committee is there is they need anything.”

The Lydick family is enthusiastic about being a part of the community in Poland and they will continue to volunteer for the Heritage Days  at Poland Spring in June and look forward to helping out the community in any way they can in the future.
