Recycle sports equipment: If you come across some gear (cleats, shin guards, gloves etc.) that you would like to pass on to the next generation, please bring to the Poland Recreation Dept. We will find a good use for it!
Our Department is proud to recycle anyone’s unwanted sports gear. We welcome any items in decent/working condition. Our lobby is open during office hours; you may drop off/ pick up any items during those times.
Available items:
Cleats (Football, soccer, baseball, softball)
Baseball/ Softball gloves
Shin Guards (soccer)
bicycle helmets
ice skates
In addition to the items we currently recycle; we accept:
Hockey equipment, skateboards, rollerblades, and baseball bats.
WHY RECYCLE????
 Give back to your community Save your neighbors and friends money Put a smile on the face of parents and kids that may not be able to afford the gear in order to participate. Get the most out of your original purchase Make more space in your home/ garage
The donation of gear has provided opportunities for many community members thus far; and we hope it will continue for many years to come.
LOST & FOUND
The Poland Recreation Department keeps a Lost & Found box in our lobby. We will store items for 3 months; after 3 months we reserve the right to donate the items to a non-profit (ie: Good Will/ Salvation Army etc.)
NOTE: Any valuables such as: wallets, jewelry, keys or money we keep locked up. Please check with recreation staff if you have lost such items.
Please try to remember to pick up your items when leaving a practice/ game/ other recreational event.
