SESSION II: January 7- March 10, 2012
Ages 3-4 yrs: Saturdays Tuition: $50.00
Time: 10am-10:30am Creative movement: We’ll learn the fundamentals of dance and how to move to music while enjoying fun dances and acting. Students will learn basic ballet and jazz steps and will be able to practice these steps through fun dances. They will also have an opportunity to learn basic acting and rhythm thru other dances and activities. Max of 6 students. We will hold a performance at the end of the Session! Dress Code: Pink leotard, tights, and skirt. Pink ballet shoes.
Ages 5-6: Saturdays Tuition: $70.00
Time: 10:30am-11:15am
Creative movement/jazz/ballet: In this class we will learn the fundamentals of jazz and ballet dance while learning to move to music. Students will have an opportunity to practice both jazz and ballet steps and to use this knowledge to grow their skills thru improvisation and interpretation. Max of 10 students. Dress Code: Black leotard and skirt, pink tights and ballet shoes.
Ages 7-10: Saturdays Tuition: $90.00
Time: 11:30am-12:30pm
Jazz/ballet/modern: We’ll learn the fundamentals of jazz, and modern dance. Jazz is a traditional form of dance which has been practiced and celebrated for years, while modern is a free-flowing dance form which focuses more on expressing emotions through dance rather than strict and structured movements. Max of 10 students. Dress Code: Black jazz pants or leggings. Any color leotard. Black jazz shoes.
Ages 10-12: Saturdays Tuition: $90.00
Time: 12:30am-1:30pm
