On Friday, February 3rd at 7PM at the Ricker Memorial Library in Poland,
the Friends of Ricker Memorial Library will host renowned
Native American
story teller, author and actor
John Bear Mitchell
He will present a program, based on his own work with PBS in helping to create
the reality show, “Colonial House.” His program, “Colonial House Revisited:
John Bear Reminisces” will feature a behind the scenes l
ook at the show and all the work that went into its unique creation.
For those interested in his work as an author, there will be a book signing of the book Trickster:
Native American Tales: A Graphic Collection, at 6:30PM. This book is no ordinary graphic collection.
It features twenty-one colorfully illustrated Native American stories.
