Solar Energy
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome Gabriel Energy & Renewables to town, who opened a new location at 6 White Oak Hill Rd. They will be providing sales & service for pellets, oil, propane and solar energy systems.
We are also excited to announce SPRQ Studios opening this January in the Poland Crossing Plaza. They will be offering ZUMBA, Strength Training, Senior Programs & SPRQ Kid After school Enrichments.

There are a lot of exciting changes under way within the CEDC this year. We are in the middle of restructuring our internal workings so that we can better achieve our goals in a more timely as well as cost effective manner. More importantly, we are working to further engage the community by creating three permanent action commit-tees for Community Development, Business Recruitment & Retention, and Tourism & Promotion. We urge peo-ple to contact us if you have an interest being involved in these new volunteer committees.

The Community Development Committee will be focusing this year on a few smaller programs (including es-tablishing an Adopt-a-Spot program) as well as continuing the ongoing work of designing and implementing an action strategy for the Municipal complex development.

The Business Recruitment & Retention Committee will doggedly pursue prospective tenants or developers to settle in some of the available lots that line our new sewer and water systems within both village districts. We will also be reaching out to current businesses to assess their strengths as well as see what we can do to further address their needs as a town.

The Tourism & Promotion Committee will continue to develop a comprehensive branding of the town and mar-ket us as a historical community with an abundance of outdoor recreational opportunities for tourists and locals alike.

We are excited to be revitalizing the CEDC as a whole and urge anyone who might be interested to reach out to one of our members and ask how you can help us build a more prosperous and sustainable community, one idea at a time.

Best,

Zakk Maher, Chair
