Whereas the Town of Polan generates waste fill from the time to (ditching materials, etc.); and whereas this fill may contain salt, petroleumproducts and other materials; and whereas, the Town seeks to keep the Public Works crews operating efficiently; therefore let it be resolved.

That a form be produced and be required to be signed by all those seeking the waste fill that makes it clear they are accepting waste fill with full knowledge of its possible contamination, and are further releasing the Town from any liability; further let it be resolved that Public Works is to provide said waste fill at the nearest location to its job site where the owner has signed the liabilty form. Further let it be resolved that if two land owners desirous of said are equidistant from the site where said waste fill is beiong generated, preference will be given to a Poland land owner over a land owner from another town.
